About the author
Tarik Braithwaite is a Law Graduate and an educator in the field of literature. This Guyanese Poet, better recognized for his “Confessional Verses” was born and raised in the city of Georgetown located in Guyana. Apart from exploring and dissecting the legal counterparts of his country’s legislation, Tarik spends most of his time studying poetry and the history of the great poets that stood before him. His obsession with this field has been defined as a “remarkable thrill” and as he posited, “It is a job for the restless”, since most of his hours are dedicated to his research. His country considers him to be the "Chris Peterson" of his nation since he aspires to build a platform for poetry lovers, which will expose the younger generation to their voice.
