Author BIO:
Martian Nella is a Guyanese-born storyteller, cultural curator, and award-winning entrepreneur. She is the founder of Martian Nella Entertainment and Martian Nella Publishing, platforms dedicated to preserving Guyanese culture through storytelling, music, and youth-centered events. A former essay competition winner turned author, she is the creative force behind Tales from St. Stephen’s Street and Sweetie Lies & Flying Skins, two folklore-inspired collections that blend memory with cultural pride.
She also leads TriFusion Consultancy LLC, a certified women-owned business focused on education, safety, and community impact across the Caribbean. Currently pursuing a BSc in Forensic Psychology with a 4.0 GPA, Martian Nella is a recipient of the Nasdaq Milestone Circles Fellowship, the Cornell Women’s Entrepreneurship Certificate, and a proud alum of the U.S. State Department’s IVLP Women Leaders program. Whether through books or beats, she champions voices that too often go unheard.
